COMPANY
Nextbigthing AG
PERIOD: 10/2019 – 12/2021 (permanently)
PROJECT: Improvement of the recruiting process; End2End Recruiting; Establishment of a start-up network for the recruitment of founders/C-levels; Improving the Candidate Journey
DESCRIPTION: The challenge was to find staff for a fast-growing venture builder and its ventures. At the same time, new processes had to be established. The development of a start-up pool was also particularly important for future success.
APPROACH: After discussions with HR management and hiring managers, I quickly realized that the recruiting processes were very time-consuming and inflexible. That's why we've introduced new, more efficient processes and trained hiring managers.
SOLUTION/RESULT: The more efficient processes improved both internal motivation and the candidate journey. We used the time gained to build up the start-up network and to fill important key positions in the areas of IT, engineering and legal.
TIME REQUIRED: 40 hours / week
COMPANY
Large company in the energy sector
PERIOD: 15-03.2022 - present
PROJECT: End2End Recruiting; Collaboration on employer branding; Improve the candidate experience
DESCRIPTION: The focus was on Germany-wide End2End recruiting; The new employees were to be found with a high degree of accuracy in line with the cultural fit. The aim was also to give each applicant a final decision within 30 days.
APPROACH: I was the only recruiter to take over the Germany-wide End2End recruiting – in close coordination with the Head of HR and the HR Business Partners. I was responsible for up to 35 positions from different areas.
SOLUTION/RESULT: By working hand-in-hand with the various departments, we were able to quickly reduce the number of positions. In this way, we managed to build up a successful employer branding and significantly improve the employer experience.

COMPANY
Heidelberger Druck
PERIOD: August 2022

PROJECT: Direct Approach: Finding a Software Build Manager
DESCRIPTION: The challenge lay in the combination of software knowledge and the hardware integration(s) requirements at Heidelberger Druck
PROCEDURE: An initial analysis quickly made it clear that it would be difficult to find a "classic" software build manager in the Heidelberg area. So I wasn't looking for a person with the right job title, but the important skills.
SOLUTION/RESULT: By opening up more job titles and still a dedicated search for the important skills, I was able to quickly identify a "Consultant Engineering" who had all the important skills (and beyond).
